Simple vs. surgical
A simple extraction removes a tooth that's fully visible and easy to reach. A surgical extraction — for a broken, impacted, or wisdom tooth — takes more time and sometimes stitches, so it costs more. If you're replacing the tooth later with an implant, we'll plan the extraction with that in mind.
